  A place of integrity and honesty If you are looking for a place where you want to leave without feeling you been ripped off, then go visit Lee. This is a business where INTEGRITY AND HONESTY toward the customer is A HIGH PRIORITY. I have used Ed's Automatic Transmission several times and have always had excellent service. Too often it is is easier just to sell you a new transmission than to fix it - but not at Ed's.They actually check everything out and try to repair it. Also, they do not charge some ridiculously high price for the work they do. It is extremely reasonable!!!!!!!!!!!!! Randy S.

We have had a time with our vehicle recenlty. When the tranmission failed, we took it to Lee. He is honest, fair, and has integrity. After getting our vehicle back, after a few weeks, it started giving us problems again. Lee took our vehicle and went over it with a fine toothed comb. He kept us aware of what was happening and did not make a very costly repair, because he was not 100% sure that it would correct the problem. Lee also did not charge us for the many hours that he put in trying to resolve this issue. This speaks volumes about the reason Ed's is still around after all of these years. You go in a customer and come out knowing that your were treated with honesty, respect, and integrity. Kudos to you, Lee, and your staff. Our vehicles will always come to you for transmission repairs!

Ed's has maintained a reputation for honesty, quality, and integrity for more years than I've been alive! As a person who grew up around the industry, in this area Ed's Automatic Transmission is a name that still garners much respect. My recent experience with them was very positive and I got information I needed with the cost of a phone call. I found both his receptionist and Lee himself to be very personable and helpful. If you have any transmission problems, go to the people with experience and an excellent reputation! Go with Ed's!

"i was waiting on a transmission place (seals) to call me back for a quote on how much a tranny for my car would be after i had brought it to them and they had made a test run in which the man informed me i would probably need a new transmission considering how old the car was and what it was doing and that there was someone they do business with who guarantees their trannys and that he would call them and let me know how much it would be which i was fine with,,,, but they never bothered to call me back, ever. i called them that afternoon to see if he had heard anything back to which he said he hadnt and that he would call them again. well then its the next day (afternoon) and still i havent heard anything from seals, and im getting a pretty good impression im not gonna. i dont know if they were overloaded, or just didnt want to bother with my car or what. i had heard good things about them and that is why i had visited them first, but was very disheartened by the way i was treated so i called Ed's without knowing anything about them other than i had found them on the internet. the man i spoke with was more interested in helping me find out what the problem was with the tranny instead of just giving me a quick quote, which really struck me. after reading a lot about trannys that pertained to my car i knew a lot of what he was saying about my transmission was true and really couldnt believe he was interested enough to go to the heart of the problem which would be cheaper. i brought my car to Ed's the next morning in which Lee the owner's son helped me a great deal. to make a long story short after doing an in depth diagnostic check and kept me informed and explained everything to me my car ,alas, was ready for the great car heap in the sky. they are not out for your money, as a matter of fact they try really hard to find out what the exact problem is so that you will not have to pay for more than you need. i mean who, these days, tries to break a transmission down and fix the exact problem? nobody that i know of. i was impressed enough to write this review. and,,,, they have a web site! and it looks good!"
